A Review & Analysis
Priest

Unlike some 90's films like "Singles" and "Reality Bites", this was my real coming of age movie milestone. It tackles its subject to the ground and once there, holds it endlessly in order to show what I considered the hypocrisy of modern religion. However at the same time, its begs the audience to grow up, to understand how complicated everything connected to faith and love is. And I went with it, moving forward past harsh unwavering idealism and right into film maturity, where no student study can really go. After this, I saw many of my favorite films a little differently than before I watched it. It's impact on your soul is immense. And I highly recommend it for those that believe they are ready.
