Why do you believe the humanoid aliens wanted to kill us?This is apparently going to be resolved if a sequel is made, but what do you think?

Answer #1 |
Perhaps Earth was simply a testing site for the aliens and hence humans were a test. Perhaps once the test was complete and they accomplished finding out whatever it is they set out to achieve when they initiated creating humans, they no longer saw any purpose to keeping them alive. Perhaps they even thought that if they let the humans live, that humans could somehow become a future threat so rather than keep that possibility, destroy them.
