Who/What is the Carved Lady in the Dining Room Scene?

Near the beginning of the movie, there is a scene when the Anderson Family is eating a meal in the dining room. Behind the kids is a cabinet holding dishes and behind Corey Haim's character, is a wooden carved lady. PLEASE could someone give me some info about her. Who is she? What is she from?
