Synopsis:
Young Sofia decides to move out of her single mother's protective cocoon in Barcelona and head to New York in pursuit of her independence. As soon as she lands, circumstances turn against her and her dreams become nightmares. Alone and without support she has to survive in one of the most aggressive and merciless cities in the world. Will the struggle be worth it.
